About Gin Lalli
Hello, I am Gin Lalli, a Solution-Focused Therapist for anxiety & stress treatment. I believe that cultivating a positive, proactive attitude by understanding how your brain works and how you can prioritise your mental wellbeing is the best way to face life’s challenges.
Motivation for Change
Many people become therapists after going through therapy themselves. I myself have just always been fascinated by how the mind works and by the coping mechanisms successful people use to live a positive life. And my work as Solution-Focused Therapist combines the two.
Throughout my life, my resilience and positive attitude have helped me with life’s ups and downs – including bereavement, heartbreak, illness, stress and anxiety. And I’ve often been admired for that.
So, I started wondering: We all struggle with stress & anxiety from time to time, but some of us cope better than others. What is it that actually hinders people from leading a healthy, holistic lifestyle? Where can they find the motivation for change?

Anxiety & Stress Treatment
Solving these questions motivated my professional career. Starting from my work as a qualified optometrist where I noticed how much people’s general health affected their eyesight. I loved to hear my patients’ stories and was often humbled by the amount of courage and resilience they had shown when overcoming life’s challenges.
The year 2017 called for a career change. I wanted to take my knowledge and further it to help others. So, I began looking at different talking therapies used to combat anxiety and stress.
Standing out amongst the different anxiety & stress treatments was Solution-Focused Therapy. What particularly appealed to me about it was that it was scientifically backed by neuroscientists with years of study.
I enrolled in one of the most prestigious training schools in the UK, The Clifton Practice in Leeds, and gained my Diploma as Solution-Focused Therapist soon after.

My Work as Solution-Focused Therapist
Since then, I have worked with people from all walks of life – from professional athletes to executives. And to this day, it’s the changes I have seen in people and the amazing results they’ve achieved that make my work so rewarding.
Also, I haven’t stopped studying. For example, I have since completed Sleep Unlimited‘s R.E.S.T. programme™. Based on the NICE recommended guideline for treating sleep disorders, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), it’s a great addition to my solution-focused skillset.
Once you understand how your brain works, how to prioritise your mental wellbeing and cultivate a positive, proactive attitude, you can face all of life’s challenges. Knowing when your stress bucket is starting to fill up and how to empty it, makes all the difference.
